I am adding markers to the problem view from my plugin and I want to be able
to handle line.separator's properly . How can I make the problem view handle
\r\n properly? Or alternatively is there a word-wrap setting that the
problem view will honor?

No. The view will look ugly even when filled with few multi line
descriptions.
