hi,

is there any possibility to add at least in the plugin.xml a description to the handler definition?

I have a lot of handlers defined. If i need to find the handlers definition to change the activeWhen/enabledWhen constraints, one have to move step by step through the hole list to find the specific handler.

Since handlers are not shown to the user and read only by the
framework, adding description to a handler isn't a good idea.

You should use the normal XML comments in the plugin.xml.
