hi all

i played around a bit with ewl and the papyrus editor and created a
simple wizard to merge nodes in an activity diagram (basically
removing one of the nodes and changing the related control flows).

while the changes to the model are done correctly, the papyrus
GMF editor does not update. even closing and reopening the editor
does not work.

i was under the impression that a GMF editor usually updates it's
view when the underlying model is changed.

does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

cheers

marco

Hi Marco,

I think this happens because Papyrus is not a canonical editor (i.e. not everything that is in the model needs to be in the diagram and vice-versa) so when you add something to the model it doesn't automatically appear on the diagram.

Cheers,
Dimitris
