I have successfully checked out the birt(V2.6.1) source code from the cvs repository as per the instructions here:

I have noticed hwoever, that the time qualifiers of the source code do not match the qualifiers of the 2.6.1 plugins that I installed via the update site

For example all the source code plugins have the timestamp 201009151750 where as the plugins installed from the update site are all earlier than this.

e.g. org.eclipse.birt.core_2.6.1.v20100819.

Although I would not expect the timestamps to match exactly, the fact the source code time stamp is a month after the released plugin has made me query if the source code I have checked out does indeed match the the plugins I have installed?

I hope someone can provide some reassurance or advice to ensure that the source code I have checked out does indeed match the 2.6.1 release of BIRT.

Adam,

I believe this has to do with time stamping the code for the release
train. I believe you have the correct plugins, but you may want to open
a bugzilla to just get confirmation.
