Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right forum. If not point me in the right direction.

What I want to accomplish is ( using Eclipse API).

I have a project in the workspace. I want to move that to another place ( not in the same workspace) and just change location path of the project. Everything else but the location of the project is the same.

Is it possible? Can anyone give me hints on how to do it?

All help is very much appreciated.

br,

Hi,

I looked more at the API and need your opinion on this:

//Copy resources to

IWorkspace w=ResourcesPlugin.getWorkspace();
IProject projHandle = w.getRoot().getProject("mycurrentProject");

IProjectDescription desc=w.newProjectDescription(projHandle.getName());
desc.setLocationURI(newPath);

projHandle.move(desc, false,monitor);
