Our client is searching for a Senior UI/UX Software Engineer to develop user interfaces for the web. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end ownership including design, implementation, deployment, and resolving support issues. You will work with a core team responsible for the entire product life cycle and will have significant responsibilities for design and implementation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Design & develop elegant and responsive user interfaces for the web
• Work with product management to break down high level goals into tasks and timelines
• Provide thoughtful input at all stages of product development
Requirements
• Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Java UI development experience is necessary
• Have a very strong understanding of and demonstrated experience with the Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
• Proficiency in using JDBC, Spring, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS
• Detailed oriented, quality conscious, with an eye toward simplicity
• Good communication skills - be able to articulate technical decisions and produce excellent technical documents
• Industry experience in hosted software, search engine marketing, internet or e-commerce
• Thrive in a startup environment - learn and become productive quickly and meet goals with minimum supervision
• Oracle, Mysql, postgres database and SQL knowledge is a big plus
