Hello:

I am a newbie in Eclipse. How do I associate files (open) files with a project, so that when I switch between projects, the editor only shows files belonging to that project?

Take a look at Mylyn (which is bundled in with most Eclipse download
packages): http://www.eclipse.org/mylyn
