I have a couple of AVDs for my project, Android 1.6 and 2.2. The green check mark by each shows them to be valid. Yet when I do a Start, the emulator starts and all I get is a black screen and the word "android" in white.

But if I plug in an Android device, the file displays correctly on the screen. What am I missing that the project (made up of HTML files) does not display on my monitor via the emulator? I tried two different AVDs.

I've only been learning for a week.

Thanks,
Steve

Eclipse forums don't support Android development. You'll have to ask in
an Android forum. The best I know are listed here:
