On ConstraintsBinding for Model validation with EVL [message #656034] Wed, 23 February 2011 20:07 Go to next message

Hello!

I'm having a partitioned GMF based model editor and a metamodel that
makes use of EPackages. Now, I'm trying to integrate model validations
using Epsilon EVL. However, if I define each package in the
constraintsBinding element (extension), then a model validation always
fails with a NullPointerException (EvlValidator.java:76). If I define
only the topmost EPackage in the constraintsBinding, then the model
validation succeeds. But it affects only those elements which reside
directly within the defined EPackage.

Does anyone have any hint for me to get this working? I've prepared a
little example for the case I've explained the problem not clear enough.
Just send me an Email address I should send the zip file to.

Thanks a lot!

Cheers
Stefan
