Hi there,
is it planned that the product file name of an e4 application may be different to the plugin project's name? If yes: It looks like that there may be something wrong:
1. Trying to synchronize the plugin file with the product file causes an error "The product's defining plug-in could not be found" and
2. Try to run the application ends up in "!MESSAGE Product testmeproduct.product could not be found." and "java.lang.RuntimeException: No application id has been found." at " org.eclipse.equinox.internal.app.EclipseAppContainer.startDe faultApp(EclipseAppContainer.java:242) "
If no: The e4 application wizard should not allow any entry in the product field during project creation neither later.
