Hi,

I'm just wondering if there are any plans to publish a HttpService now that jetty is used as web container?

If I'm not mistaken, jetty provides a bundle that registers a HttpService in the service registry: http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/eclipse/jetty/osgi/jetty-h ttpservice/7.3.0.v20110203/jetty-httpservice-7.3.0.v20110203 .jar

cheers, Peter

Hi,

We offer the Jetty packaging as an alternative to the Gemini Web one. We have no plans to include the Jetty HttpService along with Jettys full blown Web Application Container implementation.

It is quite easy to take a Kernel build and add this bundle in though. By specifying it in the initial-artifacts property (in org.eclipse.virgo.kernel.userregion) it can even be started as part of the server.

Chris.
