How To Run PHP Page With "PHP Browser"? [message #651269] Fri, 28 January 2011 11:23
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I'm new to Eclipse, and I'm trying to run/view a test "index.php" page I created using the "php browser" but it doesn't seem to load properly because I receive a "This program cannot display the webpage" error.

I installed Eclipse and I also installed the PHPEclipse add-in. I then created a workspace at the following directory on my PC.

C:\workspace\htdocs\public_html\index.php

However, when I try to run the following link/url in either IE or in the php browser I receive this error: "This program cannot display the webpage".

http://workspace/htdocs/public_html/index.php

I have my "Default Web Site" started under IIS on my Windows XP machine.

Can someone please help me troubleshoot this and let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you,

olimits7
