Displaying only one package [message #649380] Tue, 18 January 2011 20:22 Go to next message

Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked, but it's taking a lot of time to try and find this exact topic.

I have about 8 folders in the workspace folder where Eclipse is pointing.

I'd like the Package Explorer in Eclipse to show only the project that is currently being worked on, and not display the other packages/folders.

Is that possible? Or is it necessary to move those folders to another workspace, temporarily until they are active projects?

Select a project (or working set or a package) in Package Explorer ,
Navigate > Go Into

PS: You can also organize projects in working sets and then hide some of
the working sets.

Earlier Eclipse used to have problem with the working sets
As working set doesnot always include or extends the newly created directory, that means it is not always a good
seperation between what is there in a project and what is available in the project tree,It forces the user to
Constantly updating the working set after womndering where the newly created package went.

I hope this problem is resolved now.

I think a 'other projects' working set is also created and the new
projects (which are not explicitly assigned to a working set) always go
there. You can simply look in this working set and then assign a working
set of your choice.
