Hi,

I tried to install MAT in linux.
I downloaded the zip file of Linux 64 in windows, extracted in windows and transfered the whole directory to Linux. I had a JRE with which i tried to open. I tried to open the MAT using the parseheapdump.sh with xstart from Linux. But it did not opened.

Please help me in opening MAT on Linux

Hi,

the parseheapdump.sh script is just for non-gui parsing a heap dump in the console.
There should be another executable called MemoryAnalyzer
Try starting this one.

Hi Krum,

Even i tried to open the MemoryAnalyser. When i tried to open using xtart i am not able to open it.

I am getting the following message.

Sent the command line.
/opt/mat32/MemoryAnalyzer
[Start timer (TIMER_SHUTDOWN, 180)
