2 x Eclipse RCP JAVA Software Developers required to join a small development team and leverage their experience within this exciting, fast growing company. The position offers highly interesting and very varied work within a small team and utilising a range of skills and resources. Candidates must be able to adapt to new technologies with ease.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Experience of developing rich front ends for standalone java desktop applications coupled with working on one product or family of related products.
Experience of developing Java desktop applications with sophisticated business logic
Excellent knowledge of Eclipse RCP, SWT and JFace
Experience of JDK 1.n preferably 1.6
Experience of writing unit tests with JUnit
Experience of continuous integration techniques: e.g. use of Cruise Control, Ant Scripts, Subversion
Experience of automated quality assurance techniques: e.g. automated coverage analysis, automated style checking, javadocs
Any Access or Jaxs is a bonus
Hands on experience within the role will involve the following:
- RCP workbench
- using extension schemas
- developing views / editors
- implementing event providers, listeners, observers, etc.,
- knowing the eclipse jobs framework
- being able to modify what is provided by eclipse and extend it to suit the projects need where necessary"
