I have an RCP application with several views defined for my product. I also have some fast views showing up on the fast view bar. However the small icon on fast view bar that leads to several views available shows up many views in general category. These are not relevant to my application and I want to get rid of them.

My guess is I need to remove some plugins from the runtime configuration. But how do I do this without affecting the remaining application ?

Also I am trying to use a IPerspectiveListener and hideactionset/hideview functions for the page.

Which is the correct approach? and In second case..where to look for the view id's /actionset ids to be hidden. ? Any way to hide a complete category ??
