Hello,

i tried to use the RecordRecycler today. Using the default configuration (Recycler1) for the Recycler I am getting an exception saying:

org.eclipse.smila.connectivity.queue.worker.RecordRecyclerEx ception: java.lang.RuntimeException: TaskListExecutionService is not set!

Can anyone explain this problem to me, cause I dont have a clue in what area to search for a solution to this problem .

Thanks in advance!

Greets,
Andrej

Sorry for the late reply. I don't understand this exception neither. The
TaskListExecutionService is created during OSGI-service activation of the
recycler
and removed only when stopping the OSGi service, so I don't understand how
it could
happen that this thing is not there when the recycler is actually working.
Maybe
you can find some other exceptions in the log showing that there are
problems with
service activation? You also may want to add -Dequinox.ds.print=true to
the VM args of
SMILA to see service activation errors of the Declarative Services runtime.

Regards,
Juergen.

In detail I have unfortunately nothing to add to Jürgen's post.
I can only say that RecordRecycler was contributed by our friends from
brox, so perhaps some of them might provide you/us with more details
and/or solution to this problem.

Cheers
Igor
