I recorded a short screencast on YouTube about the OSGi bundle facet, that SAP is going to contribute, and how it helps to glue together the PDE and WTP tooling:

There is no sound on the video, but there are text annotations added. Make sure you have the annotation option enabled (should be on by default).

Of course the refresh could be automated when the bundle content changes (like the Virgo tooling does).

Yes, the refresh can be automated. We are going to address this issue in another feature that we will contribute - the Generic OSGi Server Adapter. We are currently working on it, but there is nothing to show yet.

I guess the Virgo tooling does the refresh using the same approach - in the Virgo server adapter. Doesn't it?
