Hi,

Is there a way to configure Java Script auto-complete feature in eclipse ?

I am using "eclipse-reporting-helios-SR1-win32" but while editing java script auto-complete is not working.

Thanks

Can you give some more detail on where you are doing the edits?
What event handler script?

I am using "eclipse-reporting-helios-SR1-win32" and looking for auto-complete feature under "Data Sets" > Script options where we apply JavaScripts.

Regards

Hi Jason,

Thanks again for helping on this....

I have tried "this" but not "reportContext"

I am trying to get reference of Java object using Java Script, will reportContext help.

I tried this example http://www.vogella.de/articles/EclipseBIRT/article.html
In section 5.3, during Script : Open is it possible to get all methods of "StockDaoMock" when I do "gsh.(dot)"... as we use to get in normal eclipse java code editor.

I have all the plugins/ features of "dtp, emf/xsd, gefall, wtp"... configured.

I think I am implementing it in a wrong way.

Regards

Vishal,

Code complete for external java objects is not currently supported in
the script editor. I think this would be a good enhancement request if
you do not mind opening a bugzilla entry.

Thanks Jason...

I will report this as a Bug...

I can simply log-in to "https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/" and report this right ?
