I looked in the Control Panel but somehow cannot find the option?

Your forum account is tied to our Bugzilla database. Simply go to
Bugzilla (log in using the same email/password as you do for forums) and
go to Preferences > Name and Password. Or click this:

If you see the above link and enter using your email id and password.
You will land up to the page
where there is an option to change the password,name and your new email address..
Enter the new email address and submit the changes.
