Is there a way to have the editor got to the beginning of the line when the home key is pressed. The default behavior is to go to the beginning of the text if the current edit position is anywhere in the line other than at the beginning of the text. If the current edit position is at the beginning of the text the home key puts you at the left margin. I always want the home key to put me at the left margin of the current line. Is this possible? I know how to bind keys I just don't know what to bind the home key to.

Go to Window->Preferences. Navigate to General->Editors->Text Editors.

Uncheck Smart caret positioning at line start and end

Pressing Home twice should take you to the beginning of the line.
