Hi EEF team,

I ran the tutorial and was very impressed with the nice generated forms.

To date I have put a lot of work into 'hand made' UI customization for
my generated emf editor based RCP and would love to throw it all out and
move to a (mostly) generated UI solution.

Have noticed that the generated EEF UIs are not using databinding and am
wondering if future direction will be to move EEF generated UIs to use
the emf databinding as well as the various UI databinding UI components?

The background for my question is that as there are several higher level
UI solutions in the works within Eclipse like uufacekit, xwt, and
whatever comes out of e4. It was my understanding that most if not all
these approaches are using the databinding infrastructure at a lower
level. (Please correct me if I am wrong on this assumption.)

At a higher level (of abstraction that is) is the plan for EEF to
provide any independence from swt?

thanks again for the project initiative and for any insights on direction,

John Conlon
