Hi,

I've read that actually ws-policy editor in STP was developed on XEF, Xml Editor Framework.

I desire to build a speed eclipse plug-in, for edit xml files (conforms a particular schema), so I'm thinking to use XEF to make it. (I need to make it for educational purpose)

"I don't know where i need to start", the information that I've readed http://wiki.eclipse.org/STP/Policy_Component are not enough.. .. Is there a tutorial or similiar to understand that components?

A doubt, the graphic interface of ws-polivy editor (rectangular similar class in uml class diagram), that also I need to build in my project, is contribuited by XEf or another plug-in (WTP?).

I've tried the street "emf->gmf" but is too long

If you are looking to create a 'graphical' editor, like the WSDL or
WS-Policy assertion editor, then XEF is not what you require. Instead
you should look at the WSDL editor code first, and the WS-Policy
Assertion editor secord. If you have an XML schema, and you are
looking for a form-based editor for documents, the XEF may do
what you want (the documentation is at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/STP/XEF_XML_Framework - it may be a
bit out of date!).

I'm sorry, but there is no tutorial available - it would be great
to have one contributed!

The graphical interface of the WS-Policy editor is not
part of XEF - it's an extension of the WSDL editor.
