Visual Editor Swing component with nested fields [message #615245]

When I create a JPanel with a nested JLabel and a nested JButton and dropped this JPanel into the Visual Editor, there are 2 problems:

1 I can't select the nested components and drag them; I have to move them through the palette property location.

2 When I move a nested component, the VE seems to clone it. I end up with an "extra" component.

In the forum I see references to SWT and Composite. We are working with Swing, so I don't think SWT and Composite are relevant.
