Extending VE Code generation to generate XML [message #614989]

Hi,

For my current project I am looking to extend VE and add custom controls.
I have been able to figure this out. I also want the GUI that I create to
be stored as an XML rather than java code. We have a separate engine to
render this. I understand that VE uses EMF ( XMI ). Where can I get more
information on how this XMI is translated to java code. If I want to
extend VE to spit out an XML file instead of java source code, where
should I start. Any help is appreciated.
