Cannot view subclassed form [message #614731] Tue, 24 October 2006 05:18

We are attempting to enforce standards on how our gui forms will look.

To this end, we've created an abstract gui class to define various widgets
on a form.

Individual applications would then subclass from this abstract class, and
add any additional widgets that it required.

The abstract gui class displays correctly. Unfortunately, in the editor,
all the subclassed gui shows is a title bar, yet when the subclass is
executed, it correctly shows the abstract gui.

Are we attempting to use the editor in a way it is not intended?

Thanks in advance,
Steven.
