Impossible dependency for installation? [message #610594]

I have a fresh install of Eclipse 3.1 running on both my home computer and
work computer. If I try to download Visual Editor through the software
update feature in Eclipse it complains that "Visual Editor (1.1.0)
requires feature 'Visual Editor (2.1.0)' or compatible". Is this a known
problem? Exactly what other plugins do I need to install to use VE?
