We are working on several DSLs and have build editors for them using EMF and
GMF.
We would like to add a textual editor that could work on the same model file
and use xText for this.
As far as I can see xText currently expects to build the metamodel itself
and it can be configured to produce a model instance based on the textual
representation, but not vice versa (to create a textual representation of
the model instance using the grammar specified).
Is it possible to use xText as 'just another editor' like the EMF treeview
and GMF diagram with the current release?
If not are there any plans for this and how much work would that be to
support?
