ECF example applications - XMPP ports [message #605090] Wed, 21 June 2006 07:25 Go to next message

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to set the port of the xmpp server in the
provided client plugin. It seems that the appropriate 'Connect' dialog
does not allow to set it. I want to connect to a server at https port 443.

thanks
Alex

Hi Alex,

The user interface does not currently allow one to do this, so I've
filed an enhancement request here:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=148093

We will try to get to it soon, but have a lot on our plate right now so
can make no immediate promises. But it won't get lost this way.

Thanks!

Scott
