I noticed the earlier version of Papyrus, before it became an eclipse project had an add-in to allow C++ code generation of the classes created in a UML diagram. are there any plans to reinstate that functionality? If not can anyone recomend a program or plugin that has that functioality?

Thanks Very much :d

Hi,

There are currently no plans to migrate the old C++ generator we had in the previous Papyrus project. It has some old dependencies towards other plugins, like the acceleo text generator, which has been promoted as an Eclipse project too. So there is a small amount of work to do on it.

It will be perhaps updated in the next months, but will not be part of the Eclipse standard Papyrus releases. I can't recommend you any other C++ generation plugins, perhaps some other Eclipse users could advise you, or you could find a plugin located in other web sites.

Regards,
Rémi
