TableCombo key listener [message #598836] Mon, 11 January 2010 04:09 Go to next message

I am using the TableCombo as a cell editor and need to add a key listener/key adapter to the Text widget in the TableCombo in order to apply editor changes and deactivate the editor when the user presses enter while the Text widget has focus.

Just exposing the Text widget with a getter solves the problem though there might be another way to do this that I didn't find.

Can the Text widget getter be added to the committed code line? Should I file a Bugzilla report requesting this?

Chris,

Please file a Bugzilla request.

I will take a look to see which way is the better way of getting you access to the text control. I will either add a method so you can register a key listener or just expose the Text control.
