Hi all!

Does anyone of you have similar problems or know about following problems?

In context with multi-desktop-tools and screen reader tools (we use Jaws)
under Windows 2000 and even on a
Linux platform, it occurs that in Eclipse UI (mostly (multipage) editors)
some widgets in editors are not displayed (see screenshot below).
We are not sure, where the problem could be, our implementation, SWT or the
native windows stuff,... so maybe someone of you has heard about such
problems.

In most cases, the problem occurs, when eclipse is already running and the
corresponding editor is open and we then start the multidesktop tool or the
screen reader. Then, some of the widgets (not all of some kind) are not
visible, whereas
some widgets of the same kind still appear (see the screenshot, where the
text fields disappear, whereas below, there are still some text fields
visible). In most cases, the problem disappears by just closing and
reopening the editor or closing/reopening the perspective.

When we open a editor while the screen reader or some other of the mentioned
tools is already running, the problem does no longer occur. So it seems like
a refreshing problem. Maybe SWT, maybe some of our implementation, I don't
know. On a Linux platform, the problem also occurs sometimes, but
independent of some other tools running (well, Linux, that is KDE has its
own multidesktop support...).

Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks a lot and best regards,

Marion
