using j2sdk1.4.2_08 on Windows ME.
I installed Eclipse from the zip-file and started it to initialize the
workspace.
I stopped Eclipse and unpacked the AJDT 1.2 zip-file to the directory
holding eclipse.exe.
The fearures directory contains org.eclipse.aspectj_1.2.0.20050610 and the
plugins
directory contains the plugins listed in features.xml.
When I start Eclipse I find no indication of AJDT in the configuation or the
preferences.
I tried accessing the update site listed on the AJDT download page, but it
shows no features.
I successfully installed AJDT 1.1 under Eclipse 2.1 about 18 months ago and
used it to
work through Eclipse in Action. After a pause for other projects, I am
trying to get back
up to speed with the latest version.
Is there anything I can do other than upgrade to Windows XP to get AJDT 1.2
running?
