Tradescape Inc., a fast growing startup located in San Mateo CA, is
looking for a Senior Eclipse Developer who has a flare and passion for user
interface interface design.
You will drive the effort for the next generation suite of Eclipse based
configuration and account management tools. The tools must be full featured and
easy to use. Some of the tools will be dedicated rich clients and others will
be web based.
Must Have Skills:
===========
- A proven performer on a large user interface project
- Highly proficient in Java and OO principles
- Strong design and object modeling skills (EMF modeling a big plus)
- Extensive experience with SWT, JFace, and Eclipse RCP
- Write concise development guidelines and standards
- Work effectively with minimal guidance and management
- Solid understanding of user interface usability principles
- Used agile programming practices (unit tests, iterative approach, etc.)
- Extensive experience writing Unit Tests
Highly Desirable:
==========
- Experience with EMF
- Some management experience (lead a team and delivered on schedule)
Desirable Skills:
==========
- Web based programming
- Experience with RAP
- Experience with CDO
- Worked with a user interface designer
- Investigate technology choices
