Follow-up website generation [message #583804] Mon, 01 October 2007 08:03
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,
Since we have a modelisation of methods in EPF, we could then
automatically generate a dynamic web site where every step in the
process could be displayed at an instant t in the occurence of the process.
The idea is to generate a web site for a given instance of a project
from EPF. So we could know at each instant where we are in the
development of the process (which phase, which pbs, and so ...) .
We could use for doing this the ATL Eclipse project
(http://www.eclipse.org/m2m/atl/) which takes a model as input (here the
EPF SPEM instance) and translate into another model (for insatnce our
dynamic website).
By using ATL we could also generate many things like a an executable
in java, or Excel sheets, or powerpoint, and so on (there is already
many injectors and extractors)...

regards
Xavier
