Hi Imran,
Thanks for your interest to get involved with MTJ.
Depending on the amount of time you are willing to spend on MTJ, there is many things you can do to help.
If you are already an "advanced" user of MTJ, you can answer questions here on the forum for people who are new to MTJ, or if you have more time, you can write an article on your "favourite" MTJ subject, which we can post on the MTJ project pages, or help updating the Wiki and add information to it: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/DSDP/MTJ
If you are interested to help translate MTJ (or any other Eclipse component) into your own local language, you can help out with the Eclipse "Babel" translation project.
see: http://babel.eclipse.org/babel/
If you want to contribute code, I recommend you look at the list of open bugs (fortunately very short at this time). You can use Bugzilla at:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi
Just run a query for all currently open bugs.
Once you found something you would like to work on, please send a brief email with the description and your plans to the mailing list, to make sure someone else is not working on the same problem:
https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/dsdp-mtj-dev
(In general a good idea for you to subscribe to the mailing list if you want to work on the code of MTJ)
If you would like to propose a larger, new feature - this mailing list is also the best place to start a discussion with the current developers and make sure your contribution will fit with the future direction and plans of MTJ.
Hope this gives you a good overview on how you can get started!
Christian
