Project Explorer view does not show loaded project [message #576745]

I have an RCP app and some plugins. When I create a project and add
files, then my project explorer refuses to show the project. Only after
the 'Link with Editor' tool-bar button in the view, the project is
shown. Did I forget to initialize something properly?
