Hi all,

I started an Agile EA plug-in in late Dec 2006. Initially we are just a very
small group of people trying to get some sort of structure and ideas going.
(time is scarce too)

In the longer term it should extend any TOGAF or other Enterprise
Architecture plug-in that is defined. It could also extend Scrum
(unfortunately my French is'nt too hot but it looks good), or OpenUP or
both.

In the short term we are working on a simple stand alone method plug-in, off
line from the eclipse.org and at some point hope to donate it and turn it
into an Eclipse Project or come to some similar arrangement.

I am looking for people to collaborate on it so if you are interested check
out www.AgileEA.com There is also a Wiki and Forum setup for concepts,
definitions, discussion, etc. http://AgileEA.Wikidot.com (both sites lead to
each other) See the Vision and Mission especially.

There are also some whitepapers (early stages) on some of the concepts
envisaged. I will be talking about this at the next TOGAF conference in Cape
Town in two weeks, so after that I will publish the presentation in a PDF on
the site too for more info.

The published version is still really VERY beta but its web published here:
http://www.agileea.com/AgileEA/index.htm (last version release was
2007.0.008)

The Method Plug-in and Library Configuration is also downloadable in a zip
file from the site if you want a closer look. Remember still very early
days... Your first impression might be theres too much stuff in here, but we
are refining and tidying it up all the time.

comments welcome

regards Charles
