Hello,
We have a project that counts about 3500 classes.
There is an aspect that affects about 600 of them.
When I try to compile the project in Eclipse using AspectJ
build, at certain point compilation interrupts with out of memory
exception. The amount of memory dedicated to Eclipse is 512MB.
Experimentally I figured out that to compile our project the max memory
size has to be set to 1GB. It gets me through the compilation step but after
this
Eclipse becomes unusable since 1GB is the size of the physical memory on
my machine.
I'm wondering if this is the normal behavior of AspectJ compiler for the
project
of this size?
Thank you,
Peter
