Howdy,
I'm looking for 5 full-time Java developers in NYC (no consultants please):
(*) 2 on the client side to work on expanding the Java / Eclipse based
trading client.
(*) 3 on the Linux Server side with Postgres or other Relational DB
experience to work on adding databases and applications. Develop failover
and 100% up-time strategies.
We are coming up on 3 years old and are building a real-time Fixed Income
Bond Trading Exchange and Desktop Client and you will be joining and
existent development team of 8. We're are entirely Open Source based using:
Linux / Java / Postgres / FIX 4.4 / Eclipse / Hibernate / Mina / Jade /
Python and various other bits and pieces.
Our customer base is a growing list of name you know Asset managers, Broker
Dealers, Hedge Funds and Insurance companies who are active in MBS
securities trading.
The Client is built using Java / The Eclipse Platform / Mina / QuickFIXJ and
developers are needed to evolve and add functionality.
Server side applications are built on top of Linux using primarily Java /
Postgres / Java / Mina / FIX 4.4 and sundry other bits and pieces.
