Our software engineering group is comprised of bright, highly motivated

is Java and C++.
We are looking for individuals who can combine innovative thinking,
high-quality design, and excellent programming skills to join our team to
expand the functionality and usability of StreamBase Studio, which allows
customers to design, develop, and test stream-based applications. We offer
a best of breed UI team, with a strong usability focus based on a solid
foundation of interaction design.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will be to participate in the design and
implementation of new features for StreamBase Studio, an Eclipse 3.x
RCP-based, Integrated Development Environment (IDE) targeted toward
developers with various levels of experience. You will also interact with
other development team members to refine existing parts of the interface to
better support target users and improve the overall user experience.
Must Haves:
1. RCP experience including fluency with SWT, JFace and the Eclipse
platform
2. BS CS or MS CS, and 3 years of commercial software development
experience
3. Fluent in general Java development
4. Attention to detail and UI design sensitivity
5. Experience working with cross-functional teams involving QA,
documentation, and usability
Pluses:
1. Experience with test-driven development
2. Previous startup experience
