Because some networks prohibit outbound access to port 119 (nntp news)
I've set up a redirection on our news server.

For those poor firewalled folks, simply configure your news reader to
connect to news.eclipse.org port 80 (instead of 119). For those who
rely on proxies, you're still SOL.

Don't forget you still need the username and password to access the news
server directly. Get it here:
