Well-funded mid-stage startup with several major customers is looking for a
Senior Software Engineer to assume responsibility for a major portion of its
user interface. This Eclipse-based UI enables both the definition of metrics
for the event engine as well as definition of the graphs and charts layout
for end users. The position will involve design, documentation,
implementation, unit testing and support of the user interface.

Candidates for this position must possess experience in: strong Java
development; Eclipse plug-in development experience; extensive "thick
client" UI development using Swing/SWT; and developing UIs for Enterprise
software in a distributed environment. Individuals also must have a minimum
of five years total software development experience with at least two of
those years in Java development.

This position reports directly to the Director of Engineering and could be
designated a Lead Engineer position for the right individual. Company is
located in the San Francisco Bay area. Only local candidates will be
considered.

The company is offering a highly competitive salary with options plus an
extensive and sophisticated "large company" benefits package.

Qualified candidates should send their resume to recruiterSF@comcast.net
