Hi,

I found a reference to this (seems from Japan) Portal on Google Code through
Ohloh Open Source monitor (there STEM is not known yet, it is still under
OHF ;-/)

And the Google Code project:
http://code.google.com/p/spatiotemporal-zoning/

I cannot tell at first sight, whether those are potential competing models
and projects or rather data sources, but at least BioCaster sounds more like
it's gathering data some of which might be helpful in some way.
