Hi folks,

Im developing an rcp application that loads some data form a database
when a view is opened (it configures itself loading configuration data
from a database). As this (loading the data) can take a while the UI is
not responsive while opening the view.

To let the application user see that there is still something going on,
I would like to use the progress bar on the status line to show that the
application is still working, but I cann not find the rigth hook where
to do that. Also, I would like to use the progress bar when tabItems in
a TabFolder are switched.

Can someone give me an Idea where I could hook in the code for showing
the progress bar, when views are switched?

Thanks

Tom
