Hi Gordon,

porting existing RCP functionality isn't that hard as it may look like.
So for having the preference dialog I would go on and reactive the
things in the ActionFactory, copy the Action itself from the original
workbench and take a look if there are some other bits missing. The UI
itself should not be a big problem to port over. As we don't support
preference stores at the moment there was no need yet to implement the
UI in RAP itself.
