Hi all,
I had believed that I had fixed the problem of getting software updates
to work in our IDE feature product by installing the SDKPolicy in the
start() method of our UI plugin. Inexplicably this has suddenly stopped
working. I have no ideas about where to look next.
I have asked many questions on this forum about this problem, and on
other forums, with no reply. I don't know why this might be - am I being
really stupid? I have been developing Eclipse applications for a few
years now and I have never found a single issue so frustrating.
Can someone please help? If not, then after nearly 2 weeks working on
this I have no choice but to give up on getting software updates working
in our product. I cannot justify anymore time on this. Our upcoming
release will have to be released without this feature.
