RSE trouble - "daemon failed to launch..." [message #556977]

Hi everyone,
I currently run Galileo on an XP machine at work and use the Remote System Explorer to connect to our Ubuntu servers.

But I just got a new machine here with Win 7 on it, and every time I try to connect to the same server through RSE, I get the following error:

"Daemon failed to launch server on [ServerAddress] using port 0"

I initially download Helios PDT to do this, but after that gave me said error, I tried Galileo PDT, but the same problem remains.

Both the machines have "Java(TM) 6 Update 21" installed as the JRE.

Everything is still working fine on the old machine, but the problem persists on the new one.

Could someone help me out pls?

nevermind...my stupid.

The server is indeed not running dstore, the older machine was connected through ssh. For some reason I was convinced it was dstore.
