Hi,

i created a view. In this view I want to open a Compare view for two given IFile-Objects. I would like to use the build in eclipse compare view (Compare to -> Each other)
I do not need extra merge tools or something like that. I Just would like to be able to see the differences for the given files.

Has someone a good example how i can to this? Unfortunately i could not find an example.

Thx for help,
Markus

Finally i found something:

http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_create_a_compare_editor %3F
http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_create_a_Compare_dialog %3F

But:
If you open tho files with the default Compare View with "Compare with -> Each other" you got right above the code-Boxes the Names of the files. I have not been able to do that. And i can't find something for that. Does anybody have an idea for that?

Thanks,
Markus
