Hi Peter,

I noticed this problem too. Something about the feature grouping has
changed, but I don't know what, yet.
As a workaround I will remove the psf feature tonight so the plugin will
no longer try to install it (I hope you don't need that feature...).
It may take a day or so until your hudson instance picks up the change
in the feature list.

@Thomas, if you happen to read this, do you know where the problem comes
from? This is what the plugin currently tries to install when 3.6 is
selected:
org.eclipse.buckminster.core.headless.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.cvs.headless.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.pde.headless.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.maven.headless.feature
org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.emma.headless.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.git.headless.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.psf.feature
org.eclipse.buckminster.subclipse.headless.feature (from cloudsmith)

Is the psf feature still maintained, or should I remove it for good in
the 3.6 list?

Best regards,
Johannes

I'm currently investigating the cause of this. I'll get back to you when I know more.

Alright, thank you. Until I hear from you again I will exclude psf so
people can install Buckminster at least.
Once the issue is resolved I'll include it again and psf will be
installed automatically the next time it checks for updates.

Hi Peter,

the psf feature is now (temporary) excluded from the list of features
the plugin tries to install. The installation should work again as soon
as the change has been published to the webserver and your hudson picks
it up. That usually takes between 6 hours and 2 days, sorry that I
cannot give you a more specific timeframe.

Best regards,
Johannes

Thanks Johannes,

I had to setup a temporary buckminster install (without the psf feature)
in order to keep my builds running. But as soon as the new plugin will
be available I will switch over.

BTW: Cool plugin, thanks for it!

Regards,
Peter

Sorry, you missunderstood me. I did not release a new version of the
plugin, I only updated the file that's telling the plugin which features
to install into a fresh buckminster. This file is fetched from
hudson-ci.org, so it will get distributed automatically and you don't
need to update anything manually.
http://hudson-ci.org/updates/hudson.plugins.buckminster.Buck minsterInstallation.BuckminsterInstaller.json

What I meant with 'takes 6 hours to 2 days' is
1. The time the hudson infrastructure needs to push the changes in
subversion to the URL above
2. The time your running hudson waits before checking for changes in the
update files

The file was updated pretty quickly yesterday so the installation should
work again for you. If not, it's a matter of a few hours before your
hudson checks for updates of the installer files again.

Glad you like it, you are welcome :)

Johannes
